I’m so excited (SERIOUSLY excited!) to be launching my workshop designed to help you learn how to take better pictures with your digital camera. This basic workshop is great if you are frustrated with your current photography and want to learn more about composition or maybe get that fancy camera off auto and learn how to use more features. It is designed for those who are enthusiasts or hobbyists and have an interest in taking photos of their kids, pets, imaginary friends, etc. We will not be covering any business topics so if you are an aspiring professional, this particular workshop is not for you.
This workshop is 4 hours and will cover:
* Equipment/gear discussion
* Getting your camera off auto
* Lighting tips for better photos
* Basic composition to make your photos more visually interesting (including how to get that beautiful blurry “bokeh” background!)
* Q&A to answer specific questions you may have
All this, plus a take away workbook to help you out after class, giveaways, lunch, snacks, and more! You will most benefit from this workshop if you own a DSLR/fully adjustable digital camera, but many of the topics we cover will improve your photography even if you’re shooting with a point and shoot camera.
Workshop Dates (in my Gilmanton home studio):
Saturday April 16th – 10:00am to 2:00pm
Saturday May 28th – 10:00am to 2:00pm
Cost: $75 per attendee
Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 attendees. I can also happily come to you if you want to host a Girl’s Night In with a group of friends! By the way husband’s – it’s also a great Mother’s Day Gift!
